Jeanann Evans

Hello…it’s me 😉

I took the scenic route. I spent a dozen years working in the field of veterinary medicine, working in 8 small animal clinics and 2 large universities (Go Gators and Aggies!) before veterinary school. I graduated from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2014, attending NCSU Veterinary School for my final clinical year (Go Wolfpack!). I have been working for a very, very busy small animal hospital since graduation and am lucky enough to be venturing out to my own practice with a best friend.

I have 2 beautiful young children, Bradyn and Brylee, and a very supportive husband who I could not have made it without, Nate “the business guy”. Oh, and I essentially have a petting zoo at my home just outside the city limits. We have 4 dog rescues, Fynn (terrier from the Caribbean), Dasher (Aussie from Texas), and 2 dachshunds from Dachshund Rescue of South Florida – Stella (naughty redhead), and of course Hope (the clinic’s namesake, see Hope’s Story). We also have a cat-dog named Ketch who was a lab animal kitty from UC Davis and a “normal” old kitty named Livy. Ollie, is my 17 year old African Grey parrot who I’ve had since he was 3 months old and Mr Bubbles is our Guinea Pig. We also have 3 White Leghorn chickens, I told you, a petting zoo!

We have lived all over the US and the Caribbean due to school and my husband being in the Army and are so excited to be putting roots down in this fabulous area! I am truly passionate about all animals and know how it feels to love and lose them. I am excited to get to know you and your entire family, and look forward to many years together!
