Meet Dr. Evans, DVM, a highly skilled veterinarian at Hope Veterinary hospital. Dr. Evans brings a wealth of expertise to our team, specializing in surgery, dental care, ultrasound, and acupuncture treatments. With a lifelong connection to veterinary medicine, Dr. Evans’ journey started as a teenager and led to a diverse background in lab animal medicine, working with a range of animals from primates to farm animals.
Completing her education at the esteemed Ross University in the Caribbean and her clinical year at NCSU, Dr. Evans found her home in North Carolina. At Hope Vet, we take pride in treating every patient and client like family. Dr. Evans recognizes the value of building strong, trusting relationships, setting us apart from corporate-driven medicine that prioritizes numbers over connections.
Beyond her professional role, Dr. Evans is an avid equestrian who finds thrill in activities like mounted shooting. Her love for animals extends to her own farm, where she tends to chickens, goats, horses, dogs, and a cherished farm cat. As a dedicated mom, she’s a proud supporter of her children’s varied sports activities, including travel hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, and ice skating. When not embarking on exciting vacations or enjoying staycations, she indulges in her passion for trying diverse cuisines from around the world.
Dr. Evans’ dedication, expertise, and genuine passion for animals and their well-being make her an integral part of the Hope Veterinary hospital team.
